Blake Charles Donley was born and raised in Excelsior, MN. An IT geek by trade, he waited 26 years to pursue what he wanted to be when he grew up. A writer at heart, he is forever asking himself, “How would I write this?” With a penchant for unforgettable characters, uncomfortable reality, and “the great American novel”, he toils mainly in the realm of literary fiction. A chance reunion with the HiFi stack of his youth sparked an obsession with vintage stereo gear that influences nearly everything he writes.
